Competition is fierce in the advertising industry. While a qualification is no guarantee of employment, this Masters course can open doors to a career in the business.

Your agency placement is your chance to shine. Your employer will see your creative skills in action and this can lead to a permanent job, or, at the very least, many more creative ideas for your portfolio.

  • Former Napier students Chris Scott and David Grenfell have won 'Young Creative Team of the Year' at the Scottish Advertising Awards, sponsored by RBS. The pair met on the MSc Creative Advertising Course in 2006. It was during their time at Napier that they put together their portfolio and then showed it to Gerry Farrell, Creative Director at The Leith Agency, who promptly gave them a job. Chris and David have already scooped a number of awards and commendations for their work, including their posters for Sol beer and their Anti-Smoking campaign for the Health Protection Agency, Northern Ireland.
