It meets your individual developmental and professional needs and allows you to explore current and emerging issues in education.

You will have the opportunity to develop, implement and evaluate blended and online learning, teaching and assessment approaches, tools and resources within your own work. Whether you are completely new to blended and online education, or just want to learn more, this course allows you to develop knowledge and skills, and put them into practice.

The course is conducted entirely by distance learning, offering you the flexibility to study while you work. You will use a range of online tools and resources and get the opportunity to interact with guest contributors including internationally renowned experts in this field.

You will develop the core skills, versatility, competence and confidence to teach effectively in online environments. You will also gain research, communication and presentation skills to compliment your existing knowledge and experience.

Part-time study

The number of modules studied is dependant on the exit that you wish to achieve, for example:

  • A Grad Cert is 60 Credits (3 modules)
  • A Cert HE/Grad Dip/ HND is 120 credits (6 modules)
  • A Dip HE credit is 240 credits (12 modules)
  • A Degree is 360 credits (18 modules)
  • An Honours Degree is 480 credits

Please note that some part-time courses give modular exemptions for previous study and vocational experience. Advice is available during application.

Part-time study (per module)

  • A Postgraduate Certificate is 60 credits (3 modules)
  • A Postgraduate Diploma is 120 credits (6 modules)
  • MBA is 180 credits
